His Resurrection

Jesus Christ was crucified and later put in a tomb. But three days later, he rose again from the dead and came back to life. The resurrection is the greatest event that took place in all of history. It was very unique and truly significant for every human being.

The Bible, very specifically the 4 gospels, record Jesus’ life and ministry. These records testify that Jesus spoke words which no body else has spoken and did miracles which no body else has done. Yet He went through the mockery of a trial and was crucified. Of course Jesus had come into this world to die for your sins and mine. We had – actually all of humanity has – sinned and thus deserve to be punished with death. Through His death Jesus paid the penalty for our sins.

However death could not destroy Jesus, nor could the grave hold Him. He rose again on the third day, just as He has told before!

The Holy Bible in I Corinthians Chapter 15 speaks at length about the benefits of the resurrection of Jesus from the dead. As we read here, because Jesus has rose again, we can have hope beyond death. By putting our trust in Jesus, we can experience life everlasting. This is a gift we receive from God. As the Bible says, “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 6:23).

Jesus is alive today!
